Mooli aur Akhrot Ka Raita (Walnut and Radish Raita)

Raita is made from yogurt with raw or cooked vegetables or fruit as usually served as a side dish or dip. This raita made from Radish is quite common in Kashmir and served as side dish. Learn the easy recipe here.

Ingredients:

Recipe Specific Ingredients:

Radish: 500 Gms

Yoghurt : 400 gms

Walnuts: 1 small bowl

Spice Ingredients:

Cumin Seeds: 3 tea spoons

Green Chilies: 2-3 Nos.

Basic Ingedients:

Salt: 1 tsp (as per taste)

Red Chilly Powder: 1 tea spoon

How to make Preparation for making Radish and Walnut Raita:

Clean, peel and grate the radish. Squeeze it to drain extra water.

Grated Raddish

Chop the green chilies into small pieces

Chop the walnuts into small pieces

Roast the cumin seeds and grind it to fine powder.

How to make Mooli ka Raita (Radish and Walnut Raita):

Take the grated radish in a bowl.

Add some Yoghurt to it and mix well.

Now add the chopped green chilies, roasted cumin seeds powder and walnuts to it and mix well.

Garnish it with Cumin seeds powder, red chilly powder and walnuts.

It is ready to serve. It goes well with rice.
