Kashmiri make Sada Dosa (Instant Dosa) traditionally. It is believed that many South Indian Brahmins were settled in Kashmir and with them they brought along their culture and food. Dosa is one among them. It is a ffavourite dish and enjoyed by one and all.

Sada Dosa

Ingredients:

Recipe Specific Ingredients:

Rice Flour: 2 Cups

Spice Ingredients:

Cumin Seeds: 2 tea spoons

Basic Ingedients:

Salt: 1 tsp (as per taste)

Mustard Oil: 1-2 tsp for grreesing tawa

How to do Preparation for making Dosa:

Take the rice flour in a bowl.

Add some water (2 cups) to it to make a batter. Mix well to make it smooth consistency. Adjust the water as per your convenience and expertise level.

Add 1tsp cumin seeds. 1/2 tsp salt and mix well.

How to make Sada Dosa or Instant Dosa:

Heat dosa twa and grease it with little oil using a brush.

Put the batter on tawa with a ladle and spread it on the tawa using the ladle or spoon.

Alternatively add little more water to the batter to make it slight thinner. Now spread it on the Dosa Tawa with the help of a small bowl putting it directly on the tawa.

Let it heat till its edges start separating from the Tawa and you see the dosa almost cooked.

Use the wooden laddle to separate the dosa from the tawa and put it in the plate for serving.

Repeat the process for as many you want to make.
