Hello I am Sanjay Pandita, the person behind this blog and I welcome you to my food and travel blog. I’m a passionate cook and I cook mainly because I love to eat.
In my early professional life after completing my engineering, though I had a wonderful job but I found myself always short on funds to enjoy some of the luxuries the city had to offer. So the only thing I could save money on was to cook for myself. Soon I realized I was enjoying cooking and my friends would love to come to me for good food and this love for cooking turned into passion. Soon I started experimenting with food and my skills were getting better and better every day.
The food that I share on this blog is the food that we eat in our home. I use basic, everyday ingredients, with a focus on good and healthy food and of course good to eat and pleasing to our taste buds. I believe that cooking should be enjoyable, and I share recipes that are doable, and you can make easily at home. My step-by-step instructions are easy to follow. My main objective is to tell people how easy it is to cook at home and also you can enjoy healthy and delicious food. You will fall in love with cooking once you get the knack of it.

I was born in Kashmir in a township called Sopore (famous for apples) around 45 Kms north of Srinagar the summer capital of Jammu & Kashmir. I did my Secondary education from Udhampur in JK which is base of the Northern Command head quarters. I again moved on to Srinagar from where I completed my engineering from Regional Engineering College (NIT), Srinagar.
After finishing my engineering I moved to Delhi and worked with some of the most prestigious companies before starting my journey as an entrepreneur.
